1. Check out Water Filter

This device needs to be changed every six months at a minimum; however, some filters can last as long as 12 or 18 months if appropriately cleaned regularly.
If you ever suspect there may be air in your water, you need to change the filter immediately since removing the air will restore ice machine operation.

But if you’re you’re used to living in a warmer climate like Hawaii, Alaska, or Florida. You’ll want to set it around 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 degrees Celsius).
3. Check out Water Pressure
The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve connected to the back of the refrigerator.
The valve, which has an internal opening pressure between 20 and 120 psi, is activated when you pressurize water within the fridge using a faucet or plumbing fixture.
To initiate a flow test, remove the device, place it into an empty bowl or container, and allow regular and steady water pressure flow before checking for abnormalities.
If there are no changes in pressures or leaks from the system, you likely have a piping issue that requires repairing or replacing particular parts.
4. Check out Water Inlet Valve
Like all machines, the ice maker is prone to wearing out. Though typically reliable, the components may eventually start to malfunction over time.
The water inlet valve inspects incoming water pressure and dispenses that original pressure into the dispenser and ice maker in a controlled and safe manner.
Should any defects occur, it will typically make an unusual humming sound as it struggles to pressurize ice or dispense water evenly.
Defective valves can also be caused by clogged debris allowing for less efficient water intake/output. If there are no signs of damage but wear and tear seem apparent, a replacement could be vital before further complications occur.
5. Check Out Some other Components
